There are a few ways customers can enroll themselves in the BayIQ rewards program. One of the easiest ways for them to do this is to utilize the text-to-join feature. Please review the steps below to see how your customers can do this.
Enrolling in the Rewards Program
1. Text your shop's short code to 66158 (In this example, the short code is 'BayIQ')
If you do not know what your shop's short code is, please submit a request to our support team.
2. The customer will receive a link to continue their signup process:
3. Next, the customer will enter basic information including their email, name, phone number, and the store they usually visit:
4. The customer then enters a little more information including their address, birthday and a password so we can start sending them reminders and promotional offers for your shop:
Note: The customer can choose to add a vehicle at this time OR skip that step and add one later. If they do NOT set up a vehicle, it will be added to their account automatically from their invoice next time they visit your shop.
5. Now that the customer has their rewards account set up, they're able to see and do the following:
- View transaction history
- View and add a vehicle
- View and add any other family members to their account (Circle Members)
- View promotions
- View points balance and dollar value equivalent
- Refer friends
- Edit their profile information and preferences
6. To edit profile information and preferences, the customer will select Profile on the men in the top right corner (their name):
7. The customer can update or edit any of the fields below. This is also where the customer can select their Contact Type as text or email.
Note: The customer's contact type will default to email unless otherwise specified.
Already Enrolled in Rewards Program
If the customer texts your short code and is already enrolled in the rewards program, they will receive a link that automatically logs them into their customer portal:
